Our permanent committees driving ICAMS activities
The Medical Education Committee works to improve the quality of medical education across Afghanistan by developing curricula recommendations, organizing training workshops for students and faculty, and advocating for evidence-based teaching methodologies in medical schools.
The Public Health Committee focuses on promoting community health awareness, disease prevention, and health education campaigns. It organizes health screenings, vaccination drives, and public seminars to improve health literacy among the Afghan population.
The Sexual & Reproductive Health and Rights Committee advocates for comprehensive sexual education, maternal health, family planning, and the protection of reproductive rights. It works to reduce stigma and increase access to reproductive healthcare services for all Afghans.
The Human Rights & Peace Committee promotes human rights education among medical students, advocates for health as a fundamental human right, and works toward building peace through health diplomacy and cross-community dialogue initiatives in Afghanistan.
The Professional Exchange Committee facilitates clinical clerkship exchanges for medical students across Afghanistan and internationally. It coordinates placement opportunities in hospitals and healthcare facilities, enabling students to gain diverse clinical experience and broaden their medical perspectives.
The Research Exchange Committee promotes research collaboration among medical students by facilitating research project exchanges, organizing academic writing workshops, and connecting students with research mentorship opportunities both within Afghanistan and abroad.
